I have been seeing this old lady (80++) for quite some time. She complained about Rt shoulder “tightness” as she could not perform HBB. I see this case as a pretty straightforward; her Rt Sh ER muscles was limiting her HBB.
My approach: Ischemic compression, TrP, acupressure or anything you want to call it
I just applied pressure on the most tender or most “tight” area around her posterior Sh region. This pressure would cause some pain of about 4-5/10 on the VAS. The technique was repeated for 5x for about 30 secs each. And then her HBB was re-tested and her HEP was to do more HBB.
